Just posting a new journal entry because I'm tired of looking at the last one from... May June? But anyways, I had a pretty good summer. Spent most of it in anticipation of going to college, but now I'm finally here! I'm currently attending the Art Institute of Philadelphia and I'm majoring in media arts and animation. I moved in exactly one week ago, and I gotta say that Philly isn't so bad! A good portion of my favorite stores are very close by (which might get me in trouble lol) and my classes are only a 5-10 minute walk away. However my english class is in the culinary building which is a 20 minute walk away. But anyways I'm doing alright. All of my room mates are pretty cool; there's five of us all together (and only one bathroom which is terrible! I'm used to having my own). Now that I've gone through a full week of classes, I think that I did make the right choice in coming here. Sure it's very expensive and I know it's gonna be a lot of work, but I'm gonna give it my best shot anyways. I'll still be posting my lovely arts in my generally sporadic fashion like always (and never updating my journals) so ya.

Entry:

Time for a journal update! It's been a while since my last one hasn't it? Anyway, things have been going pretty good in the while I was fairly inactive. I have done a few pieces of artwork, some are photos which I'll post as soon as I can find my camera. Since it's Thanksgiving break for me, I've been relaxing the whole time and working on my Blender models. I'm about half way through Flazer, a wolf Zoid that I created. It's going to be much better than Random Wolf since I actually have a plan as to what I want it to look like.

Also I had a wonderful birthday party back on the 10th of this month. I invited all of my friends and my parents invited their parents. It was actually a joint b-day party since my friend Kayla and I have birthdays only 2 days apart. We played Halo 2 (something I don't win at >_>  ) , Super Smash Bros. Melee, and Mario Kart Double Dash, and we had a blast! Of course there was the whole singing, cake, and presents bit. Not only that, the parents wanted to watch the video I did for social studies last year. It was very comical to say the least. Of course I hated it and I hated the way my voice sounded, but I was glad the other enjoyed it. The parents encouraged us to do another film based on some historical event, but making a movie is WAY too hard. I immediately rejected the idea.

It's awesome getting paid! I've gone and set up my own checking account to hold all of my spending money along side a savings account. So far I have yet to buy anything other than food, but one I put enough money in, me and my sister are going shoe shopping (something I don't do unless I need new shoes). I also plan on buying my own Zoids off the internet which is awesome to me. No more hearing my mom complain about shipping prices from Japan! However, she agreed to buy me a model for every marking period I bring home As and Bs.

Other than those things, there really hasn't been much else going on. Just my usual rants and complaints.

Wtf?! It's December! Where did 2006 go? It just vanished like 2005 did! This means I have to get a X-masy picture up and soon!

That's okay though. The sooner we can get to the second half of next year the sooner I can get Spore.
If you don't know what Spore is then where the heck have you been? It's only one of the most wanted computer games ever being created by Will Wright.

This is going to be the best game EVER!!!!!11! Or at least I hope so, because if it sucks then I'll be pissed for the next 4 years of my life. I've been waiting for this game since about September last year!

Let's see... how did my first two weeks of highschool go? *thinks* I guess I have adjusted to the early time of getting up at 5:30-6:00 AM and I haven't missed the bus yet so that's pretty good. The only thing about the bus I don't like is the radio. They play the same dumb song over and over. X( They killed the song... There's nothing I can do about it since it's the station our driver listen's to every morning.

Anyway I have a fairly good idea of where my classes are so getting lost is rather hard now and getting from class to class in five minutes isn't too hard. But when you are sharing the school with 2000+ other students there will be LOTS of (and there is) congestion in the halls. It's the worst when us freshmen go back to class from lunch as there are about 600 of us. Navigating the halls does get to be a pain.

As far as classes go I first have Health Ed., French, Intro to computer programing, science, then honors English. I think that my favorite classes so far are French and English as they are pretty fun. But for some reason people want to hook me up or think I'm already going out with someone/have a boyfriend. I mean c'mon I've only been there two weeks! Plus I have no intrest in boys at the moment. Bah... whatever. I guess that's one of the main things teenagers think about (some of them, not all).

Homework right now is at a minimal as I only get things from French and English to do at the moment. All of my other classes just have us do busy work really. I guess that's alright at least we have somthing to do.

I don't have as much time to get on the net anymore but that's to be expected I guess.

On a scale of 1-5 five being the best I'd give highschool about a 3.5. Not bad for my first two weeks.

Well this is it. Highschool for me starts either this coming monday or tuesday. The start of getting up at five, getting to the bus at six fifty and all of that other great highschool stuff. At least some people I know will be going so I'm not completely alone. I'm not sure what to feel about this. I not scared, nervous, excited or happy, just ...okay about it. I'm sure I'll get nervous on my first day. This will be the first time i set foot in a school as a student since 3rd grade so I have no idea what to expect. I don't even know the layout of the building and all I've seen was the cafeteria. I'll survive somehow. The only thing that'll cripple me is the early time of 5 AM. If it was seven then I wouldn't be as upset about it, but no it's 5 FRICKEN AM!!! I won't get up and be bright eyed and bushy tailed that's for sure.

I had to take a test yesterday to see if they'll put me in 9th or 10th grade. Most likely it'll be ninth. I can tell.

Oh yeah and I finally got back to writing my Spyro fanfic after a long drought of no insparation. Hopfully I'll get the story done this time.

Now if you'll excuse me I'm going to go enjoy my last few days of laziness until next weekend.
